(NAM) in 1985 where he worked as a policy coder and premium processing technician for multi-line commercial accounts. In 1988 Mike transferred to another AIG affiliate, Starr Associates, Inc. where he accepted a position as a technical assistant. At Starr, Mike worked as part of an underwriting support team first on commercial property, casualty and auto accounts; and later on monoline commercial property, crime and inland marine accounts. TA duties were full service and included reserving submissions, rating, policy issuance, policy changes, and premium processing. After six years at AIG, Mike joined NIF Group, Inc. in 1991 through NIF Services of N.Y., Inc. Mike began as an underwriting assistant in the wholesale brokerage department and binding authority facility. In 1994 he was promoted to Assistant Vice President and manager of the NYC branch’s Social Service Department. Mike assumed full MGA underwriting duties, premium production, and overseeing the Non Profit Dept. in NYC. In 2004, Mike was promoted to Vice President, and later to Assistant Program Manager of the Non Profit Division. In 2016 Mike was named Assitant Director, Nonprofit Social Service Program. Mike is a graduate of Adelphi University, Garden City, NY. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree, Cum Laude in Business Management and Communication. |
